Kourtney Kardashian's Photos Make Us Want to Drop Everything and Go to Nantucket

The island of Nantucket is no stranger to A-listers; both the Clintons and the Bushes frequent the tiny slice of paradise during the summer months, in addition to Fashion Designer Tommy Hilfiger, Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett. But come July, Kourtney Kardashian joins this esteemed list of temporary residents, along with her three kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, and her entourage of friends. True to form, the mother-of-three has been meticulously documenting the picturesque island on her Instagram account, creating an informal Nantucket travel guide in the process.

Live vicariously through Kourtney's gorgeous Nantucket snaps below, and add the following four activities to your Nantucket bucket list.

In Nantucket, the only thing better than people watching is scoping out the real estate. The island is home to some of the most charming estates in the country, including Google Chairman Eric Schmidt's sprawling estate and Tommy Hilfiger's former home. Be sure to bike around the island for an impromptu real estate tour.

Unsurprisingly, many of Nantucket's stunning homes sit on some of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast. While many are private, most residents are reportedly generous when it comes to opening their property to the public. Make a trip out to Madaket Beach for perfect surf and stunning views of the sunset.

Over-sand off-roading is one of Nantucket's greatest pastimes (if you have a permit, of course). You can rent four-wheel drive vehicles like the one pictured above to traverse the island's many beaches yourself.

The above pre-dinner photo is a nod to Nantucket's esteemed restaurant scene. The island boasts a new It spot each year, with Cru's famous oyster bar and the Proprietors Bar & Table topping the list. Local haunts like Centre Street Bistro and Pi Pizzeria are also a must.
